Crock Pot Cooking - Quick and Easy Meal Planning!
Doesn’t this ham look absolutely divine?!?! This recipe makes a tender and juicy spiral ham so easy to prepare in a crock pot! It’s a succulent and juicy spiral ham with a slightly crisp and caramelized skin accompanied by a deliciously sweet hint of root beer ~ a mouthwatering and unexpected twist on ham!
About This Recipe
You will not believe just how AMAZING and SIMPLE this recipe is! You literally just combine the root beer and brown sugar in a pan and boil it down a little so that it is slightly thickened. Then you place the spiral ham fat side up (spiral slided down) in a crock pot and pour the root beer mixture on and brush it in the slices a little. The only thing left to do is to let it cook on LOW for 2 hours. That’s it!! Easy peasy!
How crazy simple is that! You end up with the most TENDER and JUICY spiral ham ever!
Don’t have any root beer? Not a problem. The root beer can be SWAPPED out with Coke, Sprite, Dr. Pepper, whatever carbinated soda you have on hand. I can testify, though, that the root beer is AMAZING!
