Sweet & Sloppy Coney Sliders

Get ready for a whole new slider that has come to town!

Sweet & Sloppy Coney Sliders is not your ordinary slider recipe - have your napkins ready because these little sliders are a little, well, sloppy.  Don’t let that stop you from making them though, they are so incredibly irresistible it won’t matter!

About This Recipe

My Sweet & Sloppy Coney Sliders start with the traditional slicing the rolls in half, but what happens next is definitely not ordinary. Cook ground turkey (or ground beef), add Manwich, and then place that on the bottom layer of rolls.  Then you butterfly the hotdogs by cutting them in the middle to create two short hotdogs, then slice them almost all the way through lengthwise so that they open up and lay flat.  The little hotdogs are then placed on top of the “coney sauce”, and topped with shredded Monterey Jack cheese and slices of pepper jack cheese.  The top layer of rolls is then put in place and brushed with melted margarine and a sprinkle of sesame seeds before placing in the oven.   Oh my goodness, these are true “sliders” and so delicious!
